縱使香港市區有多發達，仍有一班獨居、雙老長者住在偏遠的郊區，獨自面對着年老體弱、退休後沒有收入、缺乏地區支援等問題。今年信義會賣旗籌款以「繪畫新生活」為主題，為鄉郊長者提供支援服務，與區內弱勢長者同行，規劃健康晚年，讓生活添上色彩和活力。

 

In Hong Kong, a number of elderly singles and couples in countryside are facing the problems of getting old and frail, and now no income after retirement and insufficient social support. The flag selling event by ELCSS-HK 2020 themed “Painting a new life”, aims to provide them sustained support with enhance communal bonding, and also with a better plan for a dignified, respectful and healthy living in their old age.
